Extremely Busy

Extremely may not be the word, but the fact is that I've been busy. I've not even had time to check my mails...they must be brimming with a lotta messages now!

Within the last couple of weeks a lot of things happened. I became a year older on 25 January; participated in the annual thanksgiving of my Church on 30 January and most importantly I started a business of my own. This explains why I've been busy!

The Information Centre is still alive and thriving. News are updated as they happen. Obviously, there is no dull moment here.

Don't fail to visit, I implore you.

Dear Citizens of the Web,

Let me first-of-all thank you all for supporting this little project of mine. It's been wonderful knowing that someone out there is actually taking out time to get something from here. This gives me joy & reasons to work more!

This New Year will be a special one for each & every one of us. We shall not have reasons to mourn/cry.

For Me, this year is just wake up call. A time to work harder. A time to impact lives. A time to make a difference. This year for Me is about moving forward. "The Information Centre" has come to stay and I'm urging you to not fail to visit as usual. You'll find here to be fun all the way!

High Speed Internet - Just to stay online!!!

Just to be able to stay in touch and keep The Information Centre up-and-running, I just acquired a GLO HSI modem. In case you're wondering what HSI means, it's High Speed Internet and this modem has lived up to its name. I'm accessing the Web at alarming & unbelievable speed!

Looking to make things better!

Whew! Getting stuffs on this blog site for you guys isn't easy but I don't have a choice, after all I'm the one who wants to make something happen. I guess I'm doing that? 

I want to use this opportunity to thank my friends for their encouragement & support. This will make me work even harder to make this blog site a household name & a must-visit blog site.

In a couple of years from now, this blog site would have gone dynamic - right now you only get static stuffs on it. This would happen because I'm going to acquire the necessary knowledge & skills of web/blog designing/building/developing. x HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, PHP would add dynamism to the blog and I'm hell bent on making this happen.

Now I know keeping a website up-and-running everyday isn't child's play. It doesn't just end there - it must have contents that are relevant and up-to-the-minute. I must confess that doing this for this blog site has been harrowing but the good thing is that it has been very interesting and eye-opening.

Due to hard work on my part, you guys can now get news ranging from Entertainment & Arts, Sports [both from BBC & Yahoo], Health, Sci/Environment, Business, Technology e.t.c You can even be abreast happenings in Nigeria, through The Nation Newspaper right inside this blog site. Also, a Google Custom Search is right here...just google it and you get your result almost immediately!

Time would not permit me to reel out things I have in stock to keep you informed but I just hope you'll bookmark this blog site and never fail to visit. This is the only way you can stay informed.
